There’s still time to apply for Fidelity’s $15,000 IMPACT grant! Here are a few tips for Mountain Top applicants
As Fidelity Bank continues to celebrate the grand opening of its new Mountain Top office, non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply for a $15,000 IMPACT grant. The program is open to Mountain Top non-profit organizations developing projects to benefit the community as a whole. The deadline is December 6, so there is still time for those who qualify to submit their projects. Noelle Krempasky, Assistant Vice President & Marketing Manager, guides the community through the application process in 5 easy steps.
“At Fidelity Bank, our goal is to always be an integral part of the community in a number of ways, from offering expert financial advice, to donations and sponsorships of local organizations, to our own brand of “surprise and delight” through Random Acts of Kindness and our Sweets and Treats Ice Cream Van,” says Krempasky. “And the IMPACT grant is just another way we can do this!”
Step 1: Determine Eligibility.
Non-profit organizations in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, seeking funding for projects that serve the community in the following ways are eligible, and encouraged, to apply for an IMPACT grant:
Step 2: Complete the Application.
Those who meet the eligibility requirements may download the application here. The 2-page application is a fillable form designed to be user-friendly. Be sure to answer each question accurately and concisely. Always run a spell check, and have someone with fresh eyes proofread for grammar and style.
Step 3: Gather Supporting Documents.
In addition to basic information about the non-profit organization seeking funds (name, address, contact information, federal tax ID number, etc.), applicants are required to submit the following documents with their applications:
Step 4: Submit Materials.
Applications are accepted the following ways:
Important Deadlines:
All applications must be received by Fidelity Bank by December 6, 2019.
Fidelity Bank will choose up to 5 finalists that best meet the criteria by January 10, 2020. Finalists will need to move onto to Step 5 (the fun part) — promotion!
Step 5: Promote!
Finalists are encouraged to promote their projects to rally the support of family, friends and friends and neighbors. With every vote, they have the opportunity to increase community awareness about their organization and mission. “This is one of the most unique aspects of the IMPACT grant program because it engages everyone in the community,” Noelle said. “Our selection committee selects five finalists, but ultimately, the community chooses the winner by voting for their favorite project.” Through social media, email marketing, posters, and good, old-fashioned word of mouth, finalists are encouraged to enjoy their campaign experience.
