In honor of the grand opening of a new Fidelity Bank office at 1 South Mountain Boulevard, Mountain Top, Fidelity Bank will be giving away $15,000 to one lucky non-profit organization. The unique program at Fidelity Bank called IMPACT – Invested in Making Progress Across the Community Together – is open to Mountain Top non-profit organizations developing projects to benefit the community as a whole.
“The program was really started as a way for the Bank to say thank you to the community for welcoming us,” said Noelle Krempasky, Assistant Vice President and Marketing Manager at Fidelity Bank. “We were blown away by the worthy projects – over 20 – that applied for the IMPACT grant when we opened an office in the Back Mountain and we cannot wait to now do it again.”
Fidelity Bank’s goal is to be an integral part of the communities served. From offering expert financial advice, to providing charitable contributions to local organizations, to a unique brand of “surprise and delight” through Random Acts of Kindness and the Sweets and Treats Ice Cream Van, Fidelity stays involved in a number of ways. Additionally, our Bankers are encouraged to participate in local organizations on bank time. In 2019 alone we have already contributed over 1,760 hours to the communities we serve.
The selection process for the IMPACT grant is particularly unique because the community ultimately chooses the grant recipient. Organizations have until October 15th to submit an application, then five finalists will be chosen. Whether staff, board of directors, friends or volunteers, supporters will then have until February to visit the Mountain Top branch and vote. The group with the most votes wins.
Good luck to all who apply and Fidelity Bank looks forward to becoming part of the Mountain Top community soon!
