A Fixed Rate Mortgage is available for 10, 15, 20 or 30-year terms . The principal and interest payment remain fixed for the term of the loan. An Adjustable Rate Mortgage (ARM) offers a low fixed interest rate for an initial period of 5, 7, or 10 years with amortization up to 30 years.
