Fidelity Bank Receives Superior Rating for Thirty Eighth Consecutive Quarter

For the last 38 consecutive quarters, independent banking watchdog agency, Bauer Financial, has given Fidelity Bank a 5-Star “Superior” Rating for financial strength and stability, its highest rating.

Bauer Financial is an independent rating company analyzing and reporting on the performance of U.S. banks and credit unions since 1983. Financial institutions that earn a Five Star rating from Bauer Financial are placed on the Bauer Financial Recommended Report.

Bauer’s star-ratings are independent and unbiased, and assigned on a scale of zero to five stars, with five being the strongest. The rating is based on Fidelity Bank’s financial strength and safety based on factors such as capital, asset quality, profitability, risk management and sound business practices.

Bauer Financial rates financial institutions based upon a complex formula factoring in current and historical data. The first level of evaluation is the capital level of the institution followed by other relevant data including, but not limited to, profitability, historical trends, loan delinquencies, repossessed assets, reserves, regulatory compliance, proposed regulations and asset quality.
