Bethzaida Hernandez Promoted to AVP, Retail Branch Manager at Fidelity Bank

Forks, PA – September 2, 2025 – Daniel J. Santaniello, President and Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank, is proud to announce the promotion of Bethzaida Hernandez to Assistant Vice President, Retail Branch Manager of the Bangor branch.

In her new role, Hernandez will oversee daily branch operations, mitigate risks, ensure strict adherence to banking regulations and policies, mentor and develop team members, foster an engaging and respectful team culture, deliver positive client experiences, and drive sales of bank products to deepen client relationships.

Hernandez has more than 30 years of banking experience. Her previous roles include Branch Manager at other financial institutions, as well as positions ranging from teller and personal banker to operations specialist.

In making the announcement, Santaniello stated, “Betsy dedicated service and exceptional leadership have been a cornerstone of our success.” He continued, “Her vision and commitment to our clients continue to inspire excellence across Fidelity Bank and the Bangor community.”

A current resident of East Stroudsburg, PA, Hernandez attended South Bronx High School, graduating as valedictorian in 1990.

Outside of work, Hernandez is actively involved in the Lions Club and serves the community through volunteering. She is a dedicated mother of two, grandmother of six, and soon-to-be great-grandmother.
