Financial Reporting Specialist

Fidelity Bank is searching for a Financial Reporting Specialist to join Fidelity Bank’s Accounting Team. This role works with the Controller to prepare financial statements, analyses, narrative commentary, including sections of the MD&A and financial statement footnotes of SEC filings, surveys and special requests. You will develop and input various formulas to create accurate departmental spreadsheets, prepare various accounting, tax and financial reports and compile and maintain audit-ready documentation. Ensuring that financial reports are timely and accurately prepared, assisting in the preparation of the annual budget, analyzing quarterly performance accounting report results and working with auditors to coordinate requests and documentation for internal control testing are a part of this role.

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field of study, specialized bank finance education and training, and two years’ experience in a related position is desired. Public accounting or internal auditing experience and working with publicly owned companies in an accounting environment is preferred.
