Fidelity Bank is looking for a Senior Trainer to complement our Learning and Development Team. In this role you will be responsible for developing new training programs based on the needs of the Bank. This will include creating new courses, updating existing courses and developing new course content and curriculum. The role of Senior trainer will support the Director of Learning and Development in planning the training programs and initiatives along with administrative duties as required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct workshops and seminars to train bankers in new skill or techniques.
  • Create training plans based on an analysis of human resource data to identify areas of improvement.
  • Assess employee competency in their job functions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Review and revise training materials as needed, including manuals, videos, or other visual aids.
  • Conducts role plays with new customer facing Bankers to evaluate their communication skills and cultural fit for the Bank.
  • Design training programs for new employees on topics such as company ethic, culture and customer service standards and computer systems
  • Develop new training programs based on changes in technology or business needs.
  • Conduct evaluation of training programs to determine whether they are effective.
  • Evaluate training program outcomes to identify any issues that need to be addressed.

A minimum of five years’ experience in a related retail banking position and a minimum of three years’ experience in a training, learning, development, or education related instruction position preferred. Four years of supervisory experience is preferred. System knowledge of Fiserv is desired.
